We handle your entire IPR portfolio – from strategy to resolution.
Every Business Holds Intellectual Property
Our lawyers have extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property law. We cover the full range of rights, including trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyright. In addition, we provide deep expertise in domain disputes, IT contracts, and marketing law.
Secure Your Intellectual Property—Beforehand
Trademarks, designs, and patents can be protected through registration with the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (Patentstyret). We strongly recommend involving a lawyer in this process. Registration grants exclusive rights for commercial use, making it easier to monetize your assets through licensing or transfer.
Non-registrable rights can often be protected via contracts—such as NDAs and non-compete clauses. Copyrights can be formalized through escrow services. In the absence of registered rights, marketing law may offer supplementary protection in practical scenarios.
Has Someone Infringed on Your Rights?
If you’ve secured your rights in advance, you stand in a very strong legal position. Under the different sections on our website, you’ll find more about the various types of intellectual property, how to secure them, and why involving a lawyer in case of conflict is vital. We also cover dispute resolution strategies, both through administrative bodies and the courts.
